Charlotte, N.C. – Bourne Partners, a leading financial services firm specializing in Pharma, Pharma Services, Consumer Health, and Healthcare Services, is excited to announce the appointment of Will Breeyear to the Financial Sponsor Coverage team where he will support the firm’s private equity coverage and sponsor-backed business development efforts. Working with Xan Smith, Managing Director, he will help manage the firm’s private equity relationships and support the firm’s efforts to provide unmatched advisory services to these Sponsors and their related portfolio investments. 

Prior to joining Bourne Partners, Will was an Associate at a boutique investment bank where he supported M&A transactions and corporate finance advisory engagements across a variety of industries, including Healthcare and Pharma Services. Prior to this, he held corporate strategy and development roles where he supported strategic initiative, partnership, and acquisition efforts at Syneos Health, a full-service CRO and Lightship, a venture-backed startup focused on operationalizing decentralized clinical trials. He started his career in supply chain and operations consulting, working with clients across the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Consumer industries.

Will received his MBA, with honors, from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Operations Management from the University of South Carolina.

With his industry knowledge, transaction experience, and an aptitude for relationship building, he will contribute to Bourne’s mission of being the premiere Healthcare focused investment bank and help bolster the firm’s advisory capabilities to serve its clients.
